The pharmaceutical sector produces more than 15,000 million euros a year in Spain, has 212 pharmaceutical companies and employs 40,000 professionals according to a report by Farmaindustria. A sector that obtains most of its income from the sale of medicines.

But not all drugs are equally profitable for the industry. What are the best-selling medications in Spain ? This is the list offered by the Medicines Observatory in its 2017 report which has data corresponding to 2016.
